For Businesses Built to Last

Committed Capital. Operator-Led.

THE FOURTH OPTION

Your Life's Work. A Real Partner.

Private equity brings capital, fast timelines, and a pre-built playbook. Strategics provide scale, but they inevitably absorb. Independent sponsors offer flexibility, yet they often figure out the rest on the fly after close.

We built OGP for owners who want depth, quality, and a partner who honors their life’s work.

We’re operators who’ve scaled businesses across decades, not just financed them, and we build alongside you, whether you’re ready to grow, transition, or both.

— Shannon Morgan, Managing Partner

OGP began long before the name existed.

In 1995, Greg Courtney started GDC as a solo consulting practice in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Over three decades, he built it into a platform with six service lines, serving clients across multiple states. The company grew through acquisition. Some founders stayed. Others moved on. The people and the culture held through every deal. In 2008, when the financial crisis hit, GDC didn’t retreat. Greg hired when others cut.

Greg and I started working together in 2019. In 2025, together with GDC’s leadership team, we formed OGP to do for other founders and families what Greg did at GDC: build an enduring institution.

OGP exists because committed capital and real operators can build what traditional private equity cannot. Founders and families deserve partners who’ve done the work, not just written the checks.

Who We Serve

What Matters

You may speak with private equity firms, independent sponsors, competitors, and larger operators. Many will give polished presentations and tell you what they think you want to hear.
We take a different path.

We know that numbers alone don’t capture what it takes to operate daily. Good business reflects how customers feel at every interaction and what employees think when they head home to family. That’s harder to measure. It’s also what makes a company worth partnering with.

Others may offer a higher price or a faster process. We compete by protecting what matters most: getting it right for you, your customers, your employees, and what you’ve built.
